New Life History and Direction

New Life A/G has been in Frankfort for nearly 28 years.  The church has had a strong influence on many lives in this town.

We are a small church serving an awesome God.  We have nearly 110 people who worship on a reguler basis.  Our people are from all walks of life and all types of personalities.  Christ is the reason why we come together and enjoy one another's company.  It would be great if you should visit us.

Beliefs

We believe that the Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21)
We believe that there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10-11; Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:22)
We believe in the deity of our Jesus, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death, His bodily resurrection from the dead, His exaltation to the right hand of God, and His personal future return to this earth in power and glory. (John 1:1; Philippians 2:5,6; Luke 1:26-38; Hebrews 7:26; Acts 2:22; 1 Corinthians 15:3; Matthew 28:6; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17)
We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ; and that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation. (Luke 24:47; John 3:3; Romans 10:13-15; Ephesians 2:8; Galatians 4:6)
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose dwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life; and that the filling of the Holy Spirit is given to believers who ask for it. (Romans 12:1,2; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; Hebrews 13:12; Like 24:49; Acts 1:4,8; Ephesians 5:18)
We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body. (Isaiah 53:4,5; Matthew 8:16,17; James 5:14-16)
We believe in the blessed Hope—the rapture of the Church at Christ’s coming. (Romans 8:23; 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17; Titus 2:13; 1 Corinthians 15:51,52)
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation. (Matthew 25:46; Mark 9:43-48; Revelation 19:20; 20:1-15; 21:8)
